I visited another old friend this past weekend, the Pilgrims Rest M.B. Church, which is located along the levee in Louisiana between Delta and Mound. The church is nestled in some trees that are eventually going to consume her. Inside are handmade pews and this old rocking chair that is falling apart, but at one time was a seat of honor for someone in the church.
