A trip to New York City: Part 7

 In today's post, we enter Times Square, ride around Madison Square Garden and Macy's and see lots and lots of people.

 The ball drops from atop this structure on New Year's.

 The statue waved at me. I knew it wasn't a real sculpture!

 When Macy's wanted to build a store on an entire NYC block, this storeowner absolutely refused to sell to them. So they built the store around him.

 The famous Beckham ad. Uh....

 The is the iconic New York image to me. Makes me want to run outside and kiss a tree.

 My adventures continue in New York City by seeing a TV scene being shot, a drive through Harlem, the famous underground Apple store, and the south end of Central Park. I can't anyone famous in the TV scene photo.

A trip to New York City: Part 5

 The tour continues as we head uptown now. We passed by Times Square, but I will have more shots of that later on. Also pictured are the famous Dakota Apartments. The last photos are of the Cathedral Church of St. John the divine.

 This is one of my favorite shots – the cliff of buildings that line Central Park.

 And to think, someone got paid to design this statue.

Most of the artwork on the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine scared the bejeezus out of me.
