Random shots

Rainbow over River Region Medical Center on Friday, Sept. 18. It is amazing what God uses to communicate with His children, isn't it?

The transparency of dragonfly wings are such a thing of beauty.

Sunset from the parking garages in downtown Vicksburg.

I love the eyes of a dragonfly. I would love to see how he views the world!

A silhouette of the statue of Lt. Commander Thomas O. Selfridge, taken during a rain storm. The statue is located near the Naval Monument in the Vicksburg National Military Park.

  2. I wish you had a list of all the children born in that hospital on September 18---that would be a lifelong treasure, a copy of that wonderful picture of a rainbow at the time of your birth.

And any family whose loved one made that last journey on that day---what a lovely symbol of the beauty of Heaven awaiting.

It's a shame that the protocol of medical confidentiality could not be bent just a little in this one case.

And you know I love that sapphire-eyed dragonfly. One thing---except for that one stray eyebrow, I could swear that was a statue of Elvis---tall hair, profile, and Las Vegas rhinestone-suit collar.

But you know how I look at things kinda skewed, sometimes.
