ReplyDeleteOh, that third one down, at the lake!! The colors and the mist and the anticipation of sunrise---a caught breath which lasts for minutes and hours.
ReplyDeleteAnd see that little cleared spot over to the right, beneath the tree? There's a little path there, which leads back and in, to a small cottage with light in the windows; there's the glow of a fire and the scent of cookies fills the air. You lift the latch, step in and are welcomed home.
