The one building I do not expect to see standing each time I venture by it is Grand Gulf Church in Claiborne County. These photos were shot in early September. This church, though, is standing strong after being abandoned for many, many years. Mother Nature tightens her grip on it a little bit more each year as the vines get bigger, the trees get taller and the wind seems to blow a little bit harder. It's a sight to see.
