One of my favorite times of year is here! The pink dogwoods are now in bloom and the sight is a glorious one! I don't care how much gas costs, get in your car, put the windows down and pick a direction to drive in. Put down the phone, look out the window and see all the beauty around you. If you find a pink dogwood, let me know. I know of three trees in Vicksburg. Find them for yourself...they definitely are easy to spot!
Great minds think alike, Marty ... I posted on pink dogwoods today, too. I'm sure you've discovered the tree on Polk Street, off of Drummond. It's my favorite because it's right on the street and there's no traffic.

So delicate and beautiful, thanks for sharing! How long will they last? We live in Illinois and never seem to make it out in time to enjoy.
