Cleaning up the photo files

Photos from a small church on U.S. 61 South, my trip to the Smokey Mountains, Biltmore Estate and  Asheville, N.C., in November, a trip to the levee over in Louisiana a couple of weeks ago, a couple of shots from the Newell family cemetery in Newellton, La., a statue at Cedar Grove and the last of the gingko and Sprague photos.

  1. What a way to begin the new year, Marty. I enjoyed browsing through your gallery of photos and love each and every one of them. My favorites are the ginkos and headstones (especially the Bill Chase stone -- what a treasure!), but every picture is truly a work of art and should be in a book on the Mississippi shelves of Barnes & Noble.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this year.

  2. What a montage for closing out the year---like you saved the best for last, only they're all, from the first time I tuned in, to the very last one on this page, plus ALL those in the little nooks and clickit-crannies you've got hidden all over the blog---I keep finding new treasures from time to time.

And I TOTALLY concur on the BOOK PART!! (hint, hint)

    Best to you all,

    rachel
