Various photos
Some various photos I have taken in the last couple of weeks. The church at Grand Gulf is still hanging on. Each time I go I expect to see it caved in. The old rocker is at the dogtrot cabin located on the grounds of the Grand Gulf Military Park. The gravestone among the canes is located in the Grand Gulf Cemetery. The Holsum bread sign and the Coca-Cola sign are on an outbuilding at the Old Country Store in Lorman. The bottom photo is of a lotus plant getting ready to bloom at Hamilton Lake in Claiborne County.

There's an uplift to these photos today---a kind of mouse's eye view, almost, which gives them a unique perspective and a new height.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. You're saving things which might be forgotten---they may melt into the ground, but their images will linger.
